I just installed 2016 Office Professional on a Windows 10. I left Office 2010 on the machine.
Everything seems to be working except Excel opens with a MS Visual Basic Compile error in hidden module: priAccess, Likewise, it closes with the same error box.
I click Help and go to a generic file on the MS website with a vague explanation of the problem that does not seem relevant, or I click Okay and Excel continues to open normally.
This happens whether I open from a shortcut or directly from the program location. All Add-ins are disabled. NO files are opened. But the problem does not occur when I open in safe mode. I have tried disabling my Norton Security software, but that has no effect.
I went to MS support and they wanted to charge me $100 dollars to troubleshoot the problem.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
